TRAVELLING BY RAIL

Nearest mainline stations:
Westbury, Wiltshire – 15 minutes from our properties (1 ½ hours from London Paddington)
Warminster, Wiltshire – 15 minutes from our properties (1 ½ hours from London Waterloo)
Local Station is Frome, Somerset (for links with Bath & Bristol) – 5 minutes from our properties.

ARRIVING BY AIR (Airports)

Bristol International – 55 minutes drive
Southampton International – 1 hr 15 minutes drive
London Heathrow – 2 hrs drive
London Gatwick – 2 hrs 15 minutes drive

BY ROAD:

We are situated 12 miles south of Bath, off the A36, onto the A361 and finally the B3090.

SUGGESTED DIRECTIONS

From M4 Westbound ( London Direction)

Leave at Junction 17 for Chippenham & Trowbridge. Follow the A350 and then the A361 towards Frome. Now go to Local Roads listed below.

 From M5 Southbound or M4 Eastbound (From North & Wales)

Leave at M4 Junction 18 onto A46 to Bath. Then take the A36 towards Warminster. Now go to Local Roads as listed below.

From the SouthWest.

Through Shepton Mallet – follow signs towards Frome. Approaching Frome – following signs for Bath – bypassing the town. At the fourth roundabout turn left onto the B3090. Please follow the instructions for your Cottage below:

From the East

Take the M3 – then onto the A303, past Stonehenge, then onto the A36. Now follow route from the SouthEast.

From the SouthEast

Take the A36 towards Bath, ignoring the signs for Frome until you reach the roundabout junction with the A361. Take the first exit onto the A361 and at the next roundabout take the second exit onto the B3090. Now go to Local Roads as listed below.

Local Roads

Just before Frome on the first roundabout at Beckington (Petrol Garage) proceed to the next roundabout (Farm Shop) and take the A361 towards Frome. Approaching the third roundabout, take the second exit (straight over) towards Frome and Oldford – signed B3090.

Oldford Farmhouse & Cottages.

On the B3090 look for the second turning on the right (approximately half a mile) – Signposted to Creamery & Lullington. The Farm entrance is the second driveway on the left.

Iron Mill & Mill Cottage

On the B3090 look for the third turning on the right in front of The Ship (Public House). Half a mile along this road is the first turning on the right down a lane - marked Iron Mill, Mill Cottage & Longhouse Farm.
